Samuel Webb Hildreth was born on January 16, 1811, to Amaziah and Margaret Hildreth in Westford, Massachusetts. He resided at the Westford poor house in his adult years.
Mr. Hildreth died in the Massachusetts State Prison on July 20, 1887, of old age, at 76.
