George Odie was born in 1834 in Massachusetts, where he worked as a laborer. Mr. Odie was incarcerated in the Massachusetts State Prison for his second time on July 2, 1874. He was released on March 27, 1878, but was back in the same prison for a third time in May 1879. Mr. Odie died there of consumption six months later on November 16, 1879, at 45 years old.
