Alexander Blinda was born in Russia in 1870 to Leopold Blinda and Bessie Porchella. Mr. Blinda worked as a laborer in Russia until he immigrated to the United States. At 29 years old, he boarded the SS Bararossa and voyaged from the Port of Bremen in Germany to New York, arriving on August 23, 1899. He settled in Stoughton, Massachusetts, where he worked as a tailor.
Mr. Blinda was incarcerated in the Massachusetts State Prison on December 19, 1912. He died there of peritonitis at 10:50 A.M. on November 21, 1917, at 47.
