James Condon was born in New York City in 1847. His parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Condon, were both Irish immigrants. Mr. Condon worked as a laborer before moving to Cincinnati. From there, he went to Boston.
Mr. Condon was incarcerated at the Massachusetts State Prison on August 11, 1903. At the time of his incarceration, records describe Mr. Condon as 5'10" with gray hair and a mustache, and the newspapers described him as very well-dressed. He died in prison at 7:00 P.M. on April 10, 1910 from chronic gastritis and arteriosclerosis, at 63.
