Vincent Conlon was born on April 20, 1894 in Burnley, Lancashire, England to Michael Conlon and Mary Ann Smith. He had three brothers and two sisters. Mr. Conlon had black hair and blue eyes, was 5'3", and was a Protestant. His father died sometime between 1901 and 1910, after which he, his mother, and his siblings immigrated to Montreal, Canada. From there they crossed into St. Albans, Vermont in August 1909, and finally settled at 1576 Main Street in Fall River, Massachusetts, where Mr. Conlon worked as a bell boy.
Mr. Conlon was incarcerated in the Massachusetts Reformatory on August 3, 1911. He died there on December 13, 1912 of cardiac syncope, likely a result of his pre-existing heart disease. He was 18.
