Kenneth Phillips was born on April 4, 1904 in New Haven, Connecticut to Alonzo Phillips and Sallie Baptist. His mother later moved to North Carolina, while Mr. Phillips relocated to Massachusetts and lived at 49 Austin Street in Cambridge. He had black hair and hazel eyes, stood 5'5", and weighed approximately 135 pounds.
Mr. Phillips initially entered the Massachusetts State Prison. Authorities later transferred him to the State Prison Colony in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. He died there on October 18, 1947, at 43.
