Charles Mardigian was born on March 15, 1893, to Jacob and Sema Mardigian. His death certificate lists his and his parents' place of birth as 'Türkiye, Armenia.' He immigrated to the United States on May 15, 1913, and settled in Lawrence, Massachusetts, where he worked as a millhand at a labor yard. He was 5'5", had black hair, light maroon eyes, and was a Catholic.
Mr. Mardigian was incarcerated in the Massachusetts Reformatory on May 15, 1913. He died there from pneumonia on October 4, 1918, at the age of 25.
