John Henry was born on October 15, 1879, in Brazil. He was tall and had black hair and brown eyes. Mr. Henry later immigrated to the United States and married Rosa S. Henry. The couple lived on Stanley Avenue in Taunton, Massachusetts, where Mr. Henry worked as a laborer in masonry.
Mr. Henry was incarcerated in the Massachusetts State Prison three separate times: September 14, 1903, June 11, 1914, and November 18, 1924. He died there of pneumonia at 2:10 P.M. on January 30, 1926. He was 46.
