Plot 142: Charles Davis

Charles Davis, aliases Charles Boler and H. T. Marshall, was born in 1876 in Oswego, Illinois to Alexander Davis, an immigrant from Newfoundland, and Ida Dodge, who was from Illinois. Mr. Davis worked as a shoemaker until his incarceration.

Mr. Davis died on December 15, 1911 while incarcerated at the Rutland Prison Camp and Hospital. He died from a combination of tuberculosis, sepsis, and an internal fistula at age 35.
