Michael Lynch was born in 1829 to two unknown parents in Ireland. Upon immigrating to the United States, he worked as a laborer until his incarceration in Massachusetts State Prison in 1873.
Mr. Lynch remained in prison for seven years and nine months until dying of consumption on March 20, 1881, at 51.
