Eugene Pires was born in 1868 in Cabo Verde. Mr. Pires later immigrated to the United States and lived in New Bedford, Massachusetts, where he worked in a brush shop.
Mr. Pires was incarcerated in the Massachusetts State Prison on October 24, 1922. He died there at 10:30 P.M. on March 23, 1928, from aortitis and cerebral embolism, at 60.
