William Murhead was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1890 to James Murhead and Bella Haslett, two Irish immigrants. He worked as a stationary fireman. Mr. Murhead was married at the time of his death.
Mr. Murhead was incarcerated at the Rutland Prison Camp and Hospital when he died of acute miliary tuberculosis on March 27, 1911, at 21.
