Christopher Stoddard was born in 1809 in Massachusetts. For much of his adult life, he resided in Plymouth, where he worked as a cooper. Mr. Stoddard was listed as a legally eligible voter and was never married.
He was incarcerated in Massachusetts State Prison in 1875, where he remained for five years and seven months until his death on April 17, 1881, dying at 72 from old age. His personal estate after his death totaled $197.24, or $6,136.98 in 2024 dollars.
