6. Cyrus Hubbard’s Survey of Concord Mill Dam Company Land, 1834

Farmer Cyrus Hubbard (1792-1865) came from a family who had lived in Concord for generations. He was remembered as a simple man, only leaving Concord once in his entire life, and was a respected surveyor whose surveys were trusted for their accuracy.

Hubbard's survey shows a section of a Concord Mill Dam Company property in 1834, along the south side of what is now Main Street. It includes the size and configuration of lots, the location of the Mill Brook, and the identities of two Milldam business owners.
